Through the support of many wonderful donors, DBU surpassed its goal of $8.5 million for the construction of Phase 1 of Ford Village and Pedersen Residential College by raising $10.7 million.
"The Lord has certainly blessed us beyond measure," stated Dr. Jeff Johnson, DBU Vice President for Advancement. "We are abundantly grateful to the members of the DBU Family who stepped forward to help make this dream a reality."
Located on the southeast corner of the main campus, Ford Village is currently under construction and will be open for students this coming fall semester. Phase 1 of the campaign involves the construction of the anchor building and two resident facilities that comprise Pedersen Residential College, a living-learning community with a focus on the impact of servant leadership in various vocational contexts.
Phase 2 of the Transform Campaign is now underway as DBU is seeking to raise $3.5 million to begin construction of a new residential facility, such as the one pictured above.
If you would like to support this vision to raise up a new generation of servant-minded leaders, please contact Dr. Jeff Johnson at firstname.lastname@example.org or call him at 214.333.5759.
