Meet our Student Workers

Meet our Master of Arts in Global Leadership student workers: Andrea Christmas (middle), MaKayla Clements (right), and Sarah Elston (left). These ladies have had the wonderful privilege of assisting our prospective and current students as well as alumni. We are so thankful that God has called these girls to join our MAGL team, furthering our ability to serve. Without further ado, let's meet the girls!

Andrea Christmas

This is Andrea's junior year here at DBU. Andrea is pursuing an undergraduate degree in English Education, with hopes of becoming a high school English teacher. Andrea's hometown is the Texas State Capital, Austin.

"One of my most rewarding tasks regarding the MAGL program is the ability to organize and create the Commissional Corner," Andrea said. "I have the pleasure of contacting students, learning about their journey, and featuring them."

Fun Fact: Andrea loves Asian cuisine.

MaKayla Clements

MaKayla is a DBU sophomore from the city of Tyler, TX. She is pursuing a degree in Psychology with a minor in Christian Studies. MaKayla's dream job is to be a child psychologist and possibly work with missions in that capacity.

"The most rewarding thing about working in the MAGL program is connecting not only with the current and prospective students, but also with my coworkers," MacKayla shared. "I enjoy working with fellow student workers as well as the program director, who inspires and encourages us to integrate faith into every aspect of life, inside and outside the office."

Fun Fact: MaKayla loves to paint.

Sarah Elston

South of DBU is Sarah's hometown of Georgetown, TX. This is Sarah's second year here at DBU as a sophomore, and she is pursuing a dual degree in Christian Studies and Intercultural Studies. Sarah aspires to work with youth missions.

"The most rewarding aspect of working in the MAGL is having the opportunity to interact with the program's potential students and work with them through the process of discerning if this is where God is calling them," Sarah said. "I enjoy getting to know their stories and how God is moving in their lives."

Fun Fact: Sarah is a fraternal twin.
