Spiritual

As a part of DBU’s Christ-centered mission, the Spiritual Life Office provides a variety of discipleship and worship experiences for students, including inspiring chapel services, ministry projects, mentoring programs, Bible studies, service and mission trips, and one-on-one spiritual guidance. A local church family is an excellent place to discover deep, abiding relationships that encourage spiritual development. If you are unable to find a local church fellowship, the Spiritual Life Office would love to suggest some wonderful churches. The DBU Counseling Center offers counseling at no charge to DBU students, faculty, and staff.

Professional

Resources to help students develop professionally through internships, jobs, networking, and other personal connections abound. 

Career Services is designed to help students bridge the gap from being a student to a highly productive employee.  

At Dallas Baptist University, service-learning is a teaching and learning strategy that integrates academic instruction, community service, and guided reflection from a Christ-centered, faith-based perspective in order to enhance student learning, to foster civic responsibility, and to develop servant leaders.
