Dr. Christina Chen
As a full-time faculty member, I have taught statistics in the College of Business, College of Natural Sciences and Math, and Graduate School of Leadership at Dallas Baptist University.
Prior to teaching at Dallas Baptist University, I worked as the manager of the Center for Interdisciplinary Research and Analysis and the Statistics Lab Manager at the University of North Texas for several years. I helped many doctoral students in dissertation research designs and data analysis, and worked closely with faculty members in their research projects and grants. I also have rich experience in assisting businesses with data analyses and performance management.
There is an old Chinese saying: “To give students a bowl of knowledge, one must have a barrel of knowledge.” I continue to learn statistics and keep my knowledge up- to- date.
With a strong interest in international education, I have presented at international conferences of Chinese American Development Association, and Research and Statistics Exchange conferences.
While enjoying teaching at Dallas Baptist University, I eagerly prepare students with statistical knowledge, thus helping them become powerful and intelligent Christians to contribute wisely to the kingdom of God.
