Dr. Dave Arnott
In addition to my calling as a Professor of Management at DBU, I love to add value for others in my discipline through the body of knowledge by writing, speaking, and leading seminars when given the opportunities to do so. The books you will find are Corporate Cults, a reply to Spencer Johnson’s Who Moved My Cheese, titled Who MADE My Cheese? and The Leadership Quotient.
Having appeared on the CBS program 48 Hours and a national TV morning show, several televised programs and multiple radio shows, I am privileged to speak to the issue of corporate culture, the target of much of my life’s work and writing. Sometimes I am quoted about individual-organization relationships in national and local media outlets that have included Fortune Magazine and Training Magazine. Research interests include authoring numerous applied and research articles in leadership, strategy and international management.
A career that began with the Association of Tennis Professionals prior to entering consulting and the teaching professions, has included working in the sporting goods and sports promotions industry that ultimately resulted in work as owner/manager of a small manufacturing company and a marketing director.
I live in Midlothian, TX with my wife, Ginger on 11 acres where we board seven horses and are awakened each day by a pet rooster, “Corn Flakes.” I am a retired marathoner having once ridden my bicycle across the U.S.
