to Submit Assignments
Home > Online Programs > How to Submit Assignments Assignments are submitted via the Assignment area, Digital Drop Box, or Class Email area in the course. Professors will specify where to submit items each semester. Check your course syllabus or ask the professor if you are unsure. Below are examples of how to submit items using these three tools: Assignment link, Digital Drop Box, and via Email.
Please follow these instructions for submitting your assignments to the professor, via the Assignment link.
1. Click on the "View/Complete"
link.
2. Go to the comment box and copy and paste your assignment
in the box, or go to "File To Attach",
click on "Browse", and attach your
file.
3. Then click on "Submit" and
your professor will receive your assignment. Note: If you
hit save button and not the submit button your professor will
not see that you have completed your assignment. You will
need to then go back to the assignment link and click on it,
then scroll down and click on "Submit."
Please follow these instructions for submitting your assignments to the professor, via the Digital Drop Box.
1. Complete your assignments and save file as Rich Text
Format (.rtf).
2. Go to the online course, click on Student Tools,
Digital Drop Box, and click on "Add
File."
3. Type the file's title (i.e., "Session 1 Journal Questions")
and click on "Browse..."
4. Select the file you created and click on "Open."
5. Click on "Submit" at the bottom of the
page, which adds the file.
6. Then click on "Send File" and select file
you added.
7. Click on "Submit" at the bottom of the
page, which submits the file.
Please do the following to contact your professor, or to submit assignments via email:
1. Click on the left side of
your screen
2. Click New Message

3. Click "TO"
4. Select the name of your course instructor in the window
that appears, click the right arrow button.
5. Click .
6. Now you can type the subject and the body of the message
just as you would normally do when writing an email.
7. You can also attach a file to your email by clicking the
button below the message.
8. To send the email, click the
button below the message.
NOTE: You will only be able to send attachments when you compose
new emails. If you reply to an existing email then the attachment
button will not be available to you.
Please do the following to check your course email.

your screen.
