Jobs magazine as a Military Friendly School for 2013. Drawn from a comparison of more than 12,000 schools across the country, DBU has been recognized as ranking in the top 15% of colleges, universities, and trade schools. The 2013 list includes more than 1,700 schools that represent the top tier of U.S. schools doing the most to educate America’s veterans. These schools offer military students the best services, programs, discounts, scholarships, clubs, networking and staff.
Schools are selected based upon the following criteria: certifications, programs and policies, which measures a school’s non-financial efforts to recruit and retain military and veteran students; financial commitment, which measures a school’s financial efforts to recruit and retain military and veteran students; and a school’s results, or success, in recruiting military and veteran students.
