Steven Luthye (steve.luthye@att.net)

Steve graduated Summa Cum Laude from Oklahoma State University with a B.M. in Music Education. He will graduate with a M.M. in Theory from Southern Methodist University in December, 2007. He joins the DBU music faculty teaching Musicianship and lower-level theory.

He is a member of the Society for Music Theory and Pi Kappa Lamda. Steve serves as the pianist at Richardson Nazarene Church.

While at SMU, Steve studied theory under Jacquelyn Hale and David Mancini and with Brandt Adams while at OSU.

One of Steve's greatest accomplishments is being married to his incredible wife of three years, Brooke. In his spare time he enjoys recording and playing live music with local bands in the Dallas area.
