Wireless Card Recommendations

Students who wish to use wireless internet may need to purchase hardware that will allow wireless connection. The wireless cards below are recommended for our campus. They can be found at most local or online computer stores (e.g. Fry's Electronics, Comp USA, Newegg.com). USB wireless devices are not suggested for desktop computers.

We ask that you do not bring your own access points, hubs, or signal boosters. It is against our network access policy. We also ask that you have updated definitions, anti-virus, and anti-spyware software loaded on to your computer.

PLEASE NOTE: The DBU Computer Lab is not responsible for the installation of wireless cards. Please have a computer technician install the card prior to arriving at DBU.

DBU students are able to receive discounted hardware and software at JourneyEd.com
