REWARDING EXPERIENCES

From practitioners in the field:
"The students' excitement in studying English and their many questions have given me much joy along with strong feelings of purpose and accomplishment. I have connected with these people. In the process of sharing our lives, time, and cultures, we have developed friendships that will be cherished always." (Whitnae Barrett, DBU Graduate and ESL Teacher)
Little did I know what kind of doors would open up to me when I first decided to teach ESL. Teaching international students both in the U.S. and in Asia has been a tremendous privilege. The challenge of meeting students' needs involves creativity and diligence, but what a wonderful payoff there is. The students progress can be remarkable, and they open up their hears to their teacher in the process." (Ann Boyles, DBU Intensive English Program Director).
